As two busy professionals residing in Manitoba decided to make it official back here on the West Coast, Elizabeth and Michael chose to leave their wedding plans to a trusted team. Together with Jeanine at Niche Style Events, Edge Catering ensured every fine detail was looked after. Graced with a beautiful summer’s day, along with a magnificent West Coast backdrop, a tent on the grounds of MOA served for stunning garden wedding.
After a church ceremony, E &M’s guests were greeted with a celebratory cocktail and passed canapes as they wandered through the MOA’s Great Hall and historic Shell Beach. As the sun began to set, guests settled into a 4 course plated dinner reflective of both of their West Coast and Icelandic heritages. Dessert held a huge surprise for the couple as Edge unveiled a customized ice sculpture for their gelato bar they were not expecting! Dished up by E & M, everyone devoured a “BYO” gelato bar while they enjoyed annual Fireworks off English Bay.
The night was one of perfection and their wedding experience was everything they had dreamed of and more. With many guests travelling from afar, it was truly a West Coast experience for everyone. Edge and Niche, what a team, the best of the best!
It was such a pleasure working with Edge for E&M’s big day! When I initially came to them, we were working on a short timeline to get this wedding planned, but they made the process so effortless! The initial creative menu was spot on to what the clients wanted, met their budget, and tasted absolutely incredible. Judy and Gemma are the kindest to work with, and it felt like every meeting and email was like working with a close friend you have known for years. The wedding day itself ran flawlessly, and the guests were just as in love with the menu as the bride and groom were. I cannot wait for the day to work with Judy, Gemma, and the rest of the team again in the very near future. Thank you so much!
