Under the Arbour UBC Botanical Gardens

Katie and Rob made it official on a delightfully pleasant summer day. It began early with the Edge Team, in collaboration with Robyn at Smitten Events and Cahoots Creative Decor, the “A” team collectively converted what is otherwise a foliage covered garden arbour into a magnificent long table dinner for K & R’s 100 guests. A lawn ceremony followed by signature cocktails and passed canapes during cocktail hour was a great start to the evening as they awaited the finishing touches for their 4 course plated dinner on a gardenscape of long harvest tables.

Palates were enticed with a summer amuse bouche, followed by a Celebration salad and a magnificent plated dinner all served under the arbour. Handcrafted desserts and macarons celebrated a spectacular finish to a great meal, followed by dancing and many more festivities through the night, made even tastier with a late night “Hot Dawg” stand. There were smiles and laughter through the night, so many friends and family celebrated this lovely couple and their love and joy for each other. Team Edge with our amazing vendors delivered an unforgettable experience for our beautiful couple…

"We chose Edge Catering for our wedding. Judy and her team were absolutely fantastic.  We looked at a lot of caterers in Vancouver, comparing menus and overall costs. We ultimately chose Edge because they were the only team that understood our ideas and vision while complementing the space and our budget. Judy was very genuine and unlike most owners of a large catering business, she was hands on the entire time. Through the planning and on our wedding day, we felt like the Edge team put our wishes first and really made the day special for us and for our guests. We did a plated menu for 95 guests and dinner was served seamlessly and was enjoyed but everyone. Above and beyond the meal, all of the little special touches really added to the experience.
